Alper Nakkas is an Associate Professor of Information Systems & Operations Management at The University of Texas at Arlington, where he also serves as PhD Coordinator for Operations & Supply Chain Management. His research focuses on collaborative operations and supply chain decision-making, including the design and use of AI-enabled decision systems. His work examines how organizations can combine human judgments, analytical models, and artificial intelligence to make better operational decisions. He teaches operations management, supply chain management, project management, and analytical decision-making to MBA, Executive MBA, and doctoral students.
